This is a simple World Cup predictions competition. Pick the score for each match before it starts. The closer your prediction is to the real result, the more points you get.
How to play
Three simple steps.
01 Pick your scores
Before each match, enter your predicted final score. Example: Brazil 2 – 1 Argentina. You can edit your prediction until the match locks.
02 Watch the match
Once the match is played, the real result is added automatically.
03 Score points
Your prediction is compared with the real result. The better your prediction, the more points you score.
Scoring
Three ways to score.
You get 3 points if you predict the exact final score.
You get 1 point if you pick the right winner, but not the exact score. You picked Spain to win, so you get 1 point.
You get 0 points if you pick the wrong winner or predict a draw that does not happen.
Champion bonus
Pick the team you think will win the World Cup.
If your champion wins the tournament, you get an extra 10 points. Your champion is based on the team you pick to win the Final. You can change this prediction until the Final locks.
When do matches lock?
Each match locks 1 hour before kickoff.
Before that, you can edit your prediction as many times as you want. Once the match locks, your prediction cannot be changed.

Pick early.
Open Predictions and fill in as many scorelines as you want. Come back later and change your mind — no problem.

Match locks.
One hour before kickoff, that match's prediction freezes. You can no longer change it.
Kickoff
Match plays.
Sit back. Results are added automatically once the match is played.
Full time
You score.
Your prediction is compared to the real result and points appear on the leaderboard.
Knockout rounds
Already handled.
The knockout bracket is built from your group stage predictions.
For example, if your group predictions have Mexico finishing first in Group A, Mexico will move into the knockout bracket automatically.
You can still edit knockout predictions later, as long as the match has not locked.
